Frequently Asked Questions

  • We can usually arrange an inspection within 5 working days, depending on availability. If you’re working to a tight deadline, let us know — we’ll always try to accommodate urgent requests.

  • After you finish the instruction process and we receive your signed terms and payment; we'll schedule your survey appointment with your agent and notify you of the date. If everything proceeds smoothly, you may not hear from us again until the inspection is complete. You'll then receive your report by email within three working days after the inspection.

We prioritise both speed and quality, so you can make decisions without delay.

    • Choose a Level 2 Survey for newer or standard properties in reasonable condition

    • Choose a Level 3 Survey for older, extended, or more complex properties

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to recommend the most suitable option based on the property — just ask.

  • We go beyond a standard inspection by offering optional add-on services:

    • Drone roof inspections for roof and hard-to-reach areas

    • Thermal imaging surveys to detect hidden defects

Our aim is to give you real clarity and confidence before you commit to a purchase.

  • The time required depends on the property's size, condition, and survey type. Typically, a RICS Level 2 Survey takes 1–3 hours, while a Level 3 Survey requires 2–4 hours.

  • No — our pricing is fully transparent.

  • Yes — We’re happy to discuss:

    • Your concerns before the inspection

    • The findings after you receive the report

This is all included as part of our service.

  • Unfortunately, we conduct survey inspections without accompaniment, as our insurance policy only covers the surveyor.

  • Chartered surveyors are not qualified gas or electric engineers and, by law, cannot test these services. However, they do conduct a visual inspection, and typically assign a 'rating 3', which means they recommend testing by a qualified professional.
